In 1970 Mr. Giorcatsos and Mrs Elli made a small kebap house, and over the years they created a small tavern. They named it PLAKA, aiming to provide their customers, traditional homemade food. Plaka Tavern is one of Nicosia's favorite and oldest taverns.
